    Hello, i just recently purchased a trunk almost identical to this one. I’m just curious, do you know anything about the origin of the trunk or any history behind it?

      Lindsay, I am not much on history. There is a book in the sidebar that I highly recommend. You may find what you are looking for in there. Bob
